The opportunity
As our Head of Digital Products, you'll lead a newly formed digital product function responsible for building and operating our B2C channels, including Avios.com, the Avios app, and other emerging platforms.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape and evolve a product strategy, unify multiple product teams into a cohesive unit, and drive the commercial success of our digital offerings.
You'll manage and inspire a diverse team, fostering collaboration across product, engineering, and retail domains, while balancing strategic vision with practical execution. Your role will be critical in transforming multiple product teams into a unified, high-performing function aligned with broader business goals, ensuring seamless customer experiences across web and app channels.
This position demands a pragmatic, people-focused leader who thrives in a agile environment and can navigate complex stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
What you’ll get up to
Own and evolve the digital product strategy across multiple platforms.
Lead the development and execution of product roadmaps — balancing customer needs, commercial goals, and business priorities.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by monitoring digital trends and competitor activity.
Champion UX and UI best practice — embedding a consistent design language and ensuring accessibility standards are met.
Build, lead and mentor a high-performing team across product management, UX, and design.
Shape agile working practices and partner closely with commercial, eCommerce, engineering and tech teams.
Engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally influencing digital priorities and securing buy-in.
Manage budgets, team structure and external partners to ensure we’re set up to scale.
What we need from you
You'll have significant experience in a product leadership role within a strong trading and proposition-led environment with pace and agility - this could be in retail, eCommerce, telecoms, insurance or similar
You'll be comfortable working across multiple channels, including web and app environments, with apps being a significant focus.
Your leadership qualities are paramount - you're able to demonstrate credibility, and able to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
Experience in product team transformation is critical - you're able to demonstrate your ability to design and implement new operating models and ways of working
You're able to demonstrate how you ensure your team delivers measurable business impact without destabilising ongoing business operations.
A broad understanding of disciplines within digital and experience including most of: Digital analytics; Product Management; UX research; UX and UI Design; Optimisation; Digital Marketing; Agile scrum methodology, practices and tools.

This role is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend — it’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and 'to do' list.
