You could be progressing your career in a hands-on Head of DevOps role at a highly successful FinTech whose award winning software enables customers to build high-performance web trading apps that deliver real-time information securely and reliably.
As Head of DevOps you will oversee the Infrastructure and Build Engineering Team, taking ownership of defining and implementing the company's DevOps strategy, including streamlining CI/CD pipelines, automation, observability and release processes to support reliable and scalable software delivery. There's currently a focus on transforming inefficient CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab as well as making improvements to monitoring, uptime and incident response via SRE and DevOps principles.
You lead a team of three which you'll help to grow, providing technical leadership and direction.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home model with 1-2 days in the London, City based office per week.
You are an experienced DevOps Engineer in senior / lead positions within a FinTech environment
You have expertise with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, IaC (Terraform) and modern cloud based architectures
You are a strategic thinker who can deliver both immediate value and long term transformation
You have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, you're collaborative and pragmatic, able to push back
