Overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the Drama Department. Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, leading by example. Play a pivotal role in a well‑resourced and flourishing Drama Department. Enhance the girls’ education through significant impact on the success of the school. Oversee the department’s full co‑curricular programme of clubs, events and whole‑school performances, including plays, musical productions, TechTastic backstage theatre club and the annual Inter‑House Drama competition.
Qualifications
Significant successful experience as a Drama teacher, or as a Second in Department or Head of Department. Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of excellence at GCSE and A level. A commitment to the welfare of students and a willingness to undergo child‑protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
