Job Description

As the Director of Engineering in Pharma you will lead and shape engineering and maintenance operations across multiple sites, driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, implement process enhancements, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance. In this role, you will influence cross-functional priorities, optimise performance, and deliver measurable impact across complex, global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering strategy and maintenance operations across multiple sites.
Oversee capital projects, budgets, and process improvements for operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high safety and quality.
Develop and coach engineering teams, mentor leaders, and build technical expertise.
Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and sustainability initiatives.
Manage asset systems, business continuity, and risk mitigation plans.
Your Profile:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
5+ years in engineering management or 10+ years relevant engineering experience.
Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining production facilities.
Knowledge of pharma engineering systems (HVAC, WFI, SCADA, CMMS).
Experience with capital projects, budgeting, and cross-functional team leadership.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable: Lean Six Sigma, Chartered Engineer, or sustainability experience.
Fluent English skills
