Responsibilities: The successful Head of English will drive curriculum excellence, use data intelligently to raise attainment and lead on teaching and learning across the department. The school is looking for:
UK QTS (or completion of a UK-recognised teacher training programme) A strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or above from a reputable university (Russell Group desirable) Substantial secondary classroom experience within a UK school Evidence of structured curriculum delivery and measurable pupil progress Confidence operating within established behaviour frameworks Legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Salary: Inner London MPS £40,317–£52,300 (UPS up to £62,496) + TLR (commensurate with experience).
