Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are seeking an exceptional Head of Enterprise Architecture to join our Technology Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering Jet2.com and Jet2holidays technology architecture roadmap to support our business transformation, and our route to a more data-enabled and MACH-based solution architecture. You'll champion innovation across the technology department, fostering a culture of creativity and forward-thinking solutions. You'll be expected to actively maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging technologies, continuously assessing their relevance and potential impact for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. The role does not have direct reporting responsibilities but will work closely with and lead-through appropriate governance - Solution Architects sitting in Application, Data, Infrastructure and Security teams, to coordinate best practice across all areas. Please note this is a hybrid role, working from our Leeds City Centre offices Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and Develop the Enterprise Architecture: Provide vision, direction, and leadership for the application, infrastructure and data architecture teams, ensuring alignment with Jet2’s strategic objectives and business transformation goals.
• Chair the Architecture Board: Lead and facilitate the Architecture Board, ensuring clear governance and coherence of architectural decisions—including data architecture—across the Technology function.
• Technology and Data Roadmap: Guide the development and ongoing evolution of the technology and data architecture roadmap, ensuring it enables business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
• Board Collaboration: Engage with the Board and senior executives, providing clear communication on architectural direction, risks, and opportunities, and influencing strategic decision-making.
• Service-Oriented Architecture: Drive Jet2’s transition towards a service-oriented architecture, promoting modularity, scalability, and reusability across our technology and data landscape.
• Business Transformation: Play a key role in Jet2’s broader business transformation, ensuring technology and data architecture underpins and accelerates change initiatives.

What You’ll Have

• Proven experience in a senior enterprise architecture leadership role, ideally within a complex, fast-paced commercial environment.
• Track record of developing and delivering technology and data architecture roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
• In-depth knowledge of modern enterprise and data architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance technical innovation with business value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board level.
• Experience leading innovation initiatives and integrating emerging technologies or practices within an enterprise context.
