Head of Event Sales

We are now seeking an exceptional Head of Event Sales - a senior, commercially driven operator with deep London networks and a proven track record of closing high-value events.
Century has a growing focus on premium, high-impact bookings - including film and TV wrap parties, brand launches, private celebrations, industry dinners, cultural showcases, and discreet corporate entertaining - events where guest experience, discretion, and delivery are paramount.
This is a pivotal role. You will lead all private hire and event sales, shaping the future of Centurys events business and positioning the club as a go-to Soho destination for premium, high-profile occasions.

About You
Senior experience in event sales within Londons premium hospitality, members clubs, or event venues.
A strong, proven network across agencies, brands, media, film, fashion, and culture.
A confident closer - commercially ambitious, persuasive, and results-driven.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
Charismatic, professional, and credible with senior clients.
A genuine interest in culture, hospitality, and creating standout experiences.
The Role
You will own and grow Centurys private events revenue (circa £3m per annum), bringing in a diverse mix of high-value business - from film premieres and wrap parties to brand launches, private celebrations, and corporate events.
You will be hands-on, well-connected, and commercially sharp - equally comfortable closing deals, nurturing long-term relationships, and representing the club at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
Drive all private event sales and revenue growth.
Leverage your network to introduce high-value events, agencies, brands, and production partners.
Lead, motivate, and develop the events sales team.
Own the full sales cycle: enquiry, proposal, negotiation, and conversion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, production companies, and VIP clients.
Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and sales materials.
Oversee event delivery in partnership with operations to ensure every event meets premium standards.
