We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team and support our activity with key partners - the likes of Adidas, PlayStation, BBC & more. This is an exciting role with ample room for progression. Immediate start with max 4 weeks notice is desirable. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the business Produce monthly, quarterly and annual management reports Conduct analysis and provide insights into financial performance Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities Be the point of contact with our external accountants that manage our statutory accounts Oversee bookkeeping and accounting processes with external accountants Build out the finance function, starting with managing our senior finance executive Be accountable for the smooth execution of day-to-day finance operations Work closely with senior leadership team to provide strategic recommendation on financial planning and commercial decisions Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance standards Drive innovation by reviewing new technology in market that helps automate/provide efficiencies to the finance function so that more time can be spent on strategic thinking Be the point of contact with our external accountants that manage our statutory accounts 5+ years experience in a finance or accounting role heading up a finance department Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting A natural ability to lead, communicate, and develop others Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling Ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders Experience with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) Competitive salary with pension scheme Central London office & WFH Fridays Free gym membership & yearly BUPA health-check Free Nandos Thursdays + weekly office fruits/snacks Additional perks like Cycle to Work scheme Unparalleled access & opportunity in the football industry Rapidly growing company with long-term role progression Rising Ballers Group is proud to be an inclusive employer.
