Eton Bridge Partners have been retained on a search to appoint a Head of Finance Operations (AP/AR) for a growing PE‑backed Group. This is a critical hire for the business, and the role is a high impact leadership position. They business is a fast‑paced with a multi‑site environment and a strong focus on operational excellence. They are building scalable, efficient finance operations to support sustained growth. Their culture values accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. The Head of AP/AR will lead their end‑to‑end Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Client Billing operations. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, efficient processes and high‑quality service across all transactional finance activity. This role has a significant impact on cashflow, revenue integrity and both supplier & customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop and motivate the team, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations. Oversee end‑to‑end AP operations including supplier onboarding, invoice processing, approval workflows and payment runs. Manage AR operations including credit control, credit checks, cash collection, reconciliations and dispute resolution. Ensure timely and accurate billing across all products and services, aligning processes with pricing and contracts. Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, digitalisation and system upgrades.

The Successful Candidate You will bring:

Proven leadership experience in AP, AR, Billing, or broader transactional finance operations. Strong process‑improvement mindset, with experience implementing automation or systems enhancements. Excellent stakeholder management skills across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Procurement. A track record of driving accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence in a high‑volume environment. The ability to build a high‑performing team culture with clear accountability and continuous learning.
