About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance Operations to act as a subject matter expert within Finance for the Group's accounting system (Deltek Vantagepoint). The role will focus on the integration of acquired entities and drive the standardisation of accounting process to support the "SLR way" initiative. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment where there is significant scope for standardisation and the implementation of best practice solutions. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary subject matter expert in Finance for the Vantagepoint system. Lead development of other subject matter experts in Finance for the Vantagepoint system. Act as main interface between Business Systems team and the global Finance team for Vantagepoint. Review and document current finance processes in Vantagepoint and propose standard "SLR way" approach. Support continuous improvements in Finance processes. Review and manage proposed improvements to the Vantagepoint system. Assist with the prioritisation of Vantagepoint requests from Finance. Build strong relationships with senior members of the Finance team, including Regional Finance Directors. Act as the lead representative for Group Finance on acquisition integrations. Advise regional Finance teams on information required for successful acquisition integrations. Manage and develop team of three with responsibility for financial integrations and other Vantagepoint initiatives Support other finance verticals (e.g. FP&A, Reporting, Audit) with data extraction from Vantagepoint Understand the interface between Vantagepoint and other systems used by the Group, e.g. TM1, Workday Support continuous development of the Group's data warehouse Support Group Finance initiatives as required
Skills & Experience Required Essential Skills
Experience of Deltek Vantagepoint. Experience of mapping finance processes and recommending best practice solutions. Experience of financial integrations of acquired entities. Experience of a global and multi-currency organisation.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growth environment is advantageous.
Behavioural Skills
