HW Finance are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, internationally operating business with turnover in excess of £100m to appoint a Head of Finance. This role takes full ownership of the day-to-day finance function across UK and US operations, while working closely with senior leadership to support continued scale and performance.

This is a hands-on, senior role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings structure to complexity, and can balance operational delivery with commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function for a £100m+ turnover business across UK & US entities
\n\t
• Oversee all core finance operations including month-end, reporting, AP/AR, payroll, and controls
\n\t
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across both jurisdictions
\n\t
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management
\n\t
• Manage statutory accounts, audits, tax, and regulatory compliance in the UK and US
\n\t
• Act as a key finance partner to the leadership team, providing insight to support growth decisions
\n\t
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and controls to support scale
\n

Candidate

\n\t
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
\n\t
• Proven experience operating in a high-growth, complex environment, ideally within a £50m–£200m turnover business
\n\t
• Strong hands-on experience running a finance function end-to-end
\n\t
• Exposure to multi-entity and/or international operations (UK & US experience highly desirable)
\n\t
• Commercially astute, detail-driven, and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
\n\t
• Able to bring structure, pace, and rigour to a scaling organisation
