Equifind is partnering with a scaling hospitality brand currently looking for a Head of Finance. Reporting into the CFO, the Head of Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for financial control, performance insight, and strategic support within a growing, multi-entity business.


This position partners closely with senior leadership to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and actionable—enabling informed decision-making and sustainable growth. It also plays a key role in building scalable processes, systems, and controls to support ongoing expansion.


The key responsibilities of the Head of Finance position include:


  • Own the monthly close and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain strong financial controls, including balance sheet integrity and compliance with accounting standards
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, systems, and data quality
  • Deliver clear, decision-focused reporting for senior stakeholders and board-level discussions
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support strategic planning through robust financial modelling
  • Analyse performance trends and provide actionable recommendations
  • Lead performance reviews and support KPI development across functions
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and business-wide decision-making
  • Oversee cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Optimise finance systems and drive automation where appropriate
  • Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Ensure full compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the audit process and manage external advisor relationships
  • Oversee timely completion of statutory accounts and filings
  • Improve data visibility and reporting capability across the business
  • Lead and develop the finance team


Candidate Profile


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in multi-site or operationally complex businesses
  • Strong track record in financial control and process improvement
  • Commercially minded with the ability to influence decision-making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Clear and confident communicator with non-financial stakeholders
  • Hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with ERP systems and finance technology
  • Familiarity with workforce or operational systems
  • Exposure to BI and reporting tools
