A market-leading food retailer is looking for a Head of Grocery Buying to join its established team in London. The company is known for its high-quality natural and organic foods, focusing on strict quality standards and offering sustainable, responsibly sourced products.
Responsibilities
As Head of Grocery Buying, you will lead the largest category for the company, responsible for the largest turnover. With a team of 4, you will drive the commercial strategy closely with the Commercial Director to grow sales and profitability.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have experience as a Head of Buying, Senior Buyer, or Buying Manager. You should be commercially minded, motivated, and solutions-focused, with the confidence to bring fresh ideas and new ways of working. A collaborative approach with clear expectations and excellent communication will be a must.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary is up to £85,000, plus an annual bonus worth up to £14,000. You will also receive share options each year (around €26,000, vesting every two years). The office is based in a central London location offering hybrid working.
