Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will hold a pivotal leadership position where your decisions directly impact the lives of our staff and the people we support. This role offers the professional autonomy to transition our HR function into a proactive, strategic partner that enables us to deliver outstanding outcomes to those we support.
The Mission
- Strategic Execution: Develop, execute, and continuously refresh a People Strategy that aligns with our ambition to be the sector employer of choice.
- Workforce Planning: Lead a sophisticated workforce strategy that ensures all services remain fully and appropriately staffed to manage both current operations and future growth.
- Compliance Excellence: Maintain 100% precision in our Sponsor Licence duties and Safer Recruitment to secure a valid "statutory excuse" for every hire.
- CQC Leadership: Innovate our people records and systems to achieve and maintain "Outstanding" ratings in both internal and external inspections.
- Accountability & RACI: Utilise the RACI principle to identify inconsistencies, resolve concerns, and ensure a clear, consistent approach across the organisation.
Who You Are
- The Expert: Chartered Member of the CIPD (Fellow status is desirable).
- The Sector Specialist: At least 5 years of experience in a CQC-regulated environment with deep knowledge of Health & Social Care regulations.
- The Compliance Lead: In-depth, technical knowledge of Home Office Sponsorship Licences and Right to Work compliance.
- Strategic & Collaborative: You are a natural partner who builds high-trust, effective work relationships across all levels to co-create innovation and lead organisational design.
- Steadfast Leadership: You possess the emotional intelligence and professional stamina to navigate complex change, remaining calm and solutions-oriented during challenging periods.
- Balanced Perspective: You lead with genuine empathy and kindness while maintaining the courage to hold yourself and others accountable for high standards.
