Job Description

We’re looking for a Head of Investor Relations to partner closely with the Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Director, to shape and communicate a clear, compelling investment story for the Group. This is a high‑profile role at the centre of the organisation, with responsibility for building trusted relationships with investors and analysts, managing market expectations and ensuring our strategy and performance are communicated with clarity and confidence. You’ll also play a key role in developing the next phase of our equity narrative as we look beyond 2027.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Communicating the Group’s strategy, performance and investment case clearly and consistently to investors and analysts
  • Developing, assessing and evolving the equity narrative and managing market expectations through clear guidance and consensus management
  • Delivering effective full year, half year and quarterly results communications and associated materials
  • Preparing senior leaders for investor interactions including roadshows, conferences and Q&A sessions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective shareholders, analysts and sales teams
  • Leading investor targeting analysis and planning proactive engagement to broaden and diversify the investor base
  • Relaying market feedback and sentiment to the Board and senior management to inform decision making
  • Leading and developing the Investor Relations team in line with group policies and values

Who we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience in investor relations, capital markets or a closely related field
  • Proven ability to communicate complex strategy and performance clearly to senior external and internal audiences
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to challenge thinking and influence at Board level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and messaging capability
  • Experience building and managing trusted relationships with investors, analysts and advisers
  • The ability to operate at pace and synthesise detailed information for different audiences
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating high‑performing teams
  • A professional qualification such as actuarial, accountancy or CFA, or equivalent experience
