Head of Joint Design Office – Sizewell C (Salary highly competitive – package negotiable for the right candidate) Reports to: SZC Technical Director Location: SZC Site, Suffolk Purpose Lead the creation and operation of the Joint Design Office (JDO) at Sizewell C, delivering site-based engineering support for construction and commissioning. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, time, and cost targets, while building and leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the JDO strategy and operating model, applying lessons from HPC and other EPR projects.
Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team (>100 FTE) from SZC, Responsible Designers, and supply chain partners.
Oversee technical delivery, resolving engineering issues across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
