Head of Learning, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $200,000/year USD
New Yesterday
Are you prepared to harness AI's transformative power to redefine what students can achieve? 2 Hour Learning has moved beyond simply integrating AI—we have woven it into the fabric of everything we do. We have reconstructed the entire learning experience, leveraging breakthroughs in AI and learning science to break free from the constraints of conventional schooling, resulting in students who consistently exceed expectations.
As the principal architect of our groundbreaking learning ecosystem for your assigned school model, you will oversee multiple campuses and leverage AI’s limitless capabilities to design hyper‑personalized learning pathways tailored to each student’s distinct needs, passions, and goals. You will combine data‑driven leadership with direct, hands‑on engagement to catalyze exponential progress.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing and iteratively refining an AI‑powered learning ecosystem that demonstrably surpasses traditional educational models, validated by concrete improvements in student performance metrics.
- Interacting directly with students via virtual channels to gain insight into their learning journeys, obstacles, and achievements, then applying these observations to continuously enhance the learning ecosystem.
- Analyzing learning platform data to identify actionable patterns and engineer high‑impact academic strategies utilizing AI/ML, learning science principles, and evidence‑based motivational techniques.
- Fostering a culture of ambitious experimentation and data‑informed decision‑making, using analytics to achieve breakthrough improvements in student growth outcomes.
- Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to convert academic insights and student input into intuitive product improvements.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Wrapping traditional education in a digital veneer. This role is not about moving classroom teaching online – we are reimagining the foundations of learning itself.
- Working with data alone. You will regularly interact with K‑12 students, treating their perspectives as critical feedback from our primary customers.
- Waiting for unanimous agreement before innovating. You will advance a bold vision and unite stakeholders around measurable, data‑driven outcomes.
- Relying on established methods. You will have the freedom to test novel strategies for motivation, evaluation, and teaching.
- Viewing AI with apprehension. In this role, you will embrace AI as a powerful catalyst for educational transformation, not a challenge to be managed.
