North Co Recruitment are working with a leading general insurer to appoint a senior pricing leader to own and deliver market pricing strategy.

This is a high-impact leadership role with accountability for rate optimisation, P&L performance and strategic pricing delivery, operating at the heart of a significant pricing transformation programme.

Candidates currently in a Manager/Senior Manager level role stepping into the 'Head of' role will be considered, as well as those with experience already at the 'Head of' level.

What you’ll do Own delivery of P&L performance, balancing volume, value and underwriting profit in partnership with Distribution leaders. Shape and deliver market pricing strategy, including customer behaviour and market premium models, aligned to best practice. Lead price optimisation strategy, securing buy-in from senior stakeholders across the business. Oversee renewal pricing strategy, ensuring effective value-based retention incentives and performance tracking. Ensure new business initiatives are commercially value-accretive, with clear insight and performance monitoring.
