Head of Mechanical Design Engineering - Air Conditioning
WE have been tasked with searching for a skilled, preferably Mechanical Bias, Design Engineer Manager with a HVAC or Refrigeration manufacturing background to join their growing team. In this role, you'll be at the intersection of design and production, driving projects from concept through to manufacturing and implementation.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient, reliable, and cost-effective HVAC solutions that meet our clients needs.
The company is going through a significant growth period and this role will be the first direct hire for the Mechanical Design Engineer. Progression to a manufacturing management role is all but guaranteed within 12-18 months.
What You’ll Do:
Design and develop Air Source Heat Pump systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Translate design concepts into manufacturable products and processes.
Support production teams by, workflows, and improving efficiency.
Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation of designs.
Collaborate with R&D, quality, and project teams to deliver high-performance, sustainable solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
