Head of Outbound Sales - Player Manager

£75,000 basic + Double OTE


A rapidly growing corporate membership organisation is seeking a Head of Outbound Sales to lead, coach and scale an expanding outbound sales team. This is a senior commercial role suited to a proven manager who can drive performance while also contributing hands‑on to new member acquisition.

Backed by highly experienced business figures and operating in a market with significant demand, they are now investing heavily in outbound sales to accelerate membership growth across the UK.


The Opportunity

You will lead an outbound sales team responsible for bringing new members into the network while also carrying your own personal sales target. The role is a 50/50 split between people management and hands‑on selling. You'll coach two outbound executives (with more hires planned), refine the outbound strategy, optimise call quality and ensure consistent monthly performance. This is a high‑impact role with direct influence on revenue growth and team expansion.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and developing an outbound sales team
  • Managing performance, call quality and outbound strategy
  • Selling membership directly to CEOs and business leaders
  • Handling warm, lapsed and database leads
  • Running structured discovery conversations and consultative sales cycles
  • Ensuring the team meets monthly new‑member targets


What They're Looking For

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years in outbound sales leadership
  • Background managing BDRs, SDRs or outbound sales teams
  • Strong personal track record of outbound new business
  • Comfortable selling to senior decision‑makers
  • Assertive, professional communicator
