Hybrid position working 3 days in the office, 2 days remote working Salary - 50,000 per year Permanent position At CMR we are hiring on behalf of our client who are a fast-growing umbrella company with big ambitions. The Head of Payroll will be responsible for scaling, stabilising, and shaping the payroll function. With a second office just opened and a new senior leadership team, there are no plans to slow down. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is an umbrella payroll expert to join and ensure the engine room is built for growth. What you'll be doing: - Lead and optimise the end-to-end payroll operation and managing and mentoring a remote payroll team (with potential to grow the team further) - Review and improve existing processes and systems to ensure compliance that is audit ready, efficiency and scalability - Collaborate with the wider SLT to support strategic decisions across the business and drive improvements using your experience and industry insight What we're looking for: - Solid experience running umbrella payroll you'll need to hit the ground running - Strong leadership and communication skills someone who brings clarity and calm to a fast-moving environment - Experience with My Digital Accounts would be a bonus, but not essential This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to make a real impact, be part of something growing at pace, and help shape the future of the payroll function.
