OverviewEscape is working in partnership with a long-established manufacturing organisation who have created a new role for a Head of Procurement to lead and develop their purchasing function across multiple sites.This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing a team, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring materials and services are available to support production and business growth.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop multi-site purchasing teamsOversee all MRO and indirect spend, ensuring value and continuity of supplyBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsEnsure timely availability of materials to support production and capital projectsDrive improvements in processes, procedures and efficiency across the purchasing functionSupport the upgrade and optimisation of the MRP systemWork closely with colleagues across operations, manufacturing, logistics and fleetCandidate profileExperienced procurement professional with a track record of leading teamsKnowledge of manufacturing operations, materials planning and inventory controlStrong supplier management and negotiation skillsExperience with MRP systems and process improvement initiativesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior procurement professional to make a real impact on a growing manufacturing business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
