Role Overview

The Head of Product Marketing – Payments will define and execute the global marketing strategy for Finastra’s Payments solutions. This role leads a team to deliver product marketing, sales enablement, and campaign execution aligned with business objectives and revenue goals. It requires strategic leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to drive thought leadership and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and deliver global marketing strategy for Payments across regions and segments.
  • Represent Payments in cross‑BU marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Influence positioning, messaging, and differentiation for all Payments offerings.
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable results; knowledge/expertise around payments domain, preferably payment hubs and/or financial messaging solutions.

Product Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and execute end‑to‑end GTM plans for launches, messaging, and positioning.
  • Train Sales and other Payments teams on product positioning and value propositions.
  • Create and maintain sales enablement tools (playbooks, pitch decks, competitive battlecards) and ensure accessibility (Highspot).
  • Oversee global campaign execution across digital and paid channels, including performance tracking and lead handover to SDRs.

Thought Leadership & Analyst Relations

  • Drive global thought leadership initiatives.
  • Lead analyst engagement for market positioning, Magic Quadrant, and RFI responses.
  • Collaborate with PR for media coverage and brand amplification; secure representation at industry events and webinars.
  • Leverage insights to optimize messaging and positioning; identify award opportunities to enhance visibility.

Digital Marketing & Innovation

  • Drive integrated campaign topics and messaging across digital channels to generate pipeline.
  • Champion adoption of AI‑driven marketing tools and explore new engagement channels.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in payments and fintech product marketing.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in product marketing leadership within Payments or FinTech.
  • Expertise in GTM strategy, campaign execution, and sales enablement.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge/expertise around payments domain, preferably payment hubs and/or financial messaging solutions.
