We're Legal & General, one of the UK's leading financial services groups. We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Product Taxes to join our Group Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to lead on all aspects of product tax compliance and governance across our business, ensuring we meet our obligations while supporting innovation and growth. Leading product tax advice, governance and risk management across the Group
Researching and analysing tax law to produce clear, actionable insights
Overseeing compliance with tax risk control frameworks and internal audits
Supporting the development of efficient tax systems and processes
Acting as the escalation point for all product tax queries and issues
A recognised professional tax or financial qualification (e.g. Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation, especially in pensions, ISAs and savings products
Experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to both industry and advisory roles
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
Experience overseeing compliance and risk frameworks
