About the role
We are delivering a major transformation as we move from a suite of established healthcare products to a unified Single Health Platform. Alongside building a modern, data-driven future powered by AI agents and intelligent workflows, we continue to support critical national infrastructure relied upon every day.
As Head of Product for Workflows, you will be responsible for our core foundation products, overseeing five Foundation Squads that generate significant recurring revenue. Your focus is twofold: protect and strengthen today’s business while preparing products and teams for integration into the modernised platform.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong operational discipline, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead teams through multi-year transformation.
What You Will Do
Lead and support five Foundation Squads across key healthcare products
Ensure stability, reliability, and high customer satisfaction across critical national systems
Protect and grow existing revenue through effective release planning and product stewardshipOptimise allocation of Product Managers and Product Owners across legacy and modernisation priorities
Unlock subject matter expertise within your teams to support workflow definition for the new platform
Guide teams through organisational and capability change as they evolve towards domain workflow expertise
Balance roadmap delivery with the ongoing maintenance and technical debt management required in mature systems
Maintain operational excellence while supporting long‑term strategic transition
What You Will Have
Extensive experience leading mature, high-revenue product portfolios
Strong background in change management and guiding teams through transformation
Proven ability to balance business continuity with strategic modernisation
Experience working within healthcare or other regulated environments
Understanding of NHS frameworks and relevant UK healthcare policy is advantageous
Strong commercial awareness and ability to protect revenue while enabling innovation
Clear leadership style with the ability to align senior stakeholders and product team
