Shape the Future of a Premium Global Gallery Brand

About Clarendon Fine Art

Clarendon Fine Art is the world’s leading gallery group in modern and contemporary art, with 80+ high street and premium retail locations across the UK and at sea.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded retail property professional to oversee and optimise our UK estate.

This is a hands-on role focused on managing and strengthening a multi-site high street portfolio.

The Role

You will lead the day-to-day management and development of our retail property estate, ensuring our locations support sales performance, protect margin and reflect our premium brand positioning.

Working closely with the Leadership Team, you will play a key role in:

  • Managing lease renewals, re-gears, rent reviews and negotiations
  • Supporting new site identification and acquisitions
  • Overseeing relocations and selective closures
  • Driving portfolio efficiency and cost control
  • Managing landlord relationships and external property agents
  • Overseeing retail-focused CAPEX projects and refits
  • Supporting facilities and compliance oversight across the estate

This role combines commercial negotiation with practical estate management in a fast-paced retail environment.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone with strong retail property experience.

You will bring:

  • Experience managing a multi-site retail property portfolio (high street / shopping centre / luxury)
  • Strong lease negotiation experience with retail landlords
  • Solid understanding of service charges, turnover rents and retail lease structures
  • Commercial awareness and comfort working with budgets
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders

Experience within premium retail, hospitality or lifestyle brands would be advantageous.

How You’ll Succeed

You are:

  • Strategically sharp and operationally credible
  • Commercially grounded and financially literate
  • Decisive and calm under pressure
  • Influential, pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Passionate about how physical space shapes brand, experience and sales

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a growing, creative, luxury retail brand
  • Work closely with an engaged Executive team
  • Play a visible role in shaping the next phase of our estate
  • Hybrid flexibility with UK travel
