The Role The Head of Property is a new role reporting into the Director of Residential and Commercial Services. The role is seeking an experienced General Practice Surveyor with strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to manage complex property issues in an operational environment. The role will require leadership of both Property and Conferencing & Events teams. The Purpose Of The Role Is To
Ensure that the University properly discharges its responsibilities as the freeholder of a number of strategic commercial and residential properties in Bloomsbury and elsewhere and as landlord to a number of University of London federation members and other tenants. Maximise external earnings from the University’s estate, improving asset value and supporting commercial operations. Provide strong leadership to the Asset and Space Management teams and Conferencing & Events teams, coaching and sharing knowledge, and championing collaborative working to deliver customer‑focused services across the estate.
Key Areas Of Responsibility Include
Asset Management and Commercial Operations Engagement, communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. Financial Management of the commercial property and conferencing budgets, maximising income opportunities Provide professional knowledge and support to internal stakeholders. Leadership to the Property and Conference and Event teams.
