About the Role Our client, an award winning and dynamic event caterer, is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead growth across corporate, private, and brand events. This senior role is perfect for a results-oriented sales professional with proven experience in event catering, venue account management, and business development .
Key Responsibilities Event Catering & Venue Sales
Drive revenue growth through new business and high-value bookings across corporate, private, and brand events.
Manage relationships with existing venues and act as the primary account manager to maximise opportunities.
Identify and secure new venue listings to expand the companys portfolio and event offerings.
Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and bookings.
Client & Account Management
Act as senior sales contact for high-value clients, agencies, and venue partners.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and venues.
Ensure a seamless client experience from enquiry to event delivery.
Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with operational and culinary teams to ensure sales commitments are deliverable.
Provide market insight, competitor analysis, and client feedback to inform sales strategy.
Person Specification Essential
Proven experience in event catering sales , venue account management and high-value hospitality sales.
Strong track record of securing corporate, private, or branded catering contracts.
Experience managing key accounts and developing new venue listings and tender processes.
Commercially focused with excellent negotiation, pitching, and presentation skills.
Confident, proactive relationship builder and sales leader.
Experience selling large-scale or high-end catering events.
Existing network of corporate, agency, or venue contacts.
