Head of Science – The Role A well-established secondary school in Havering is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Head of Science on a permanent basis from September. As Head of Science, you will: Lead and manage the Science department, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics Develop and implement a clear vision for teaching and learning within the faculty Monitor student progress and drive improved outcomes across all key stages Support, coach and develop members of the Science team Oversee curriculum planning, assessment and departmental resources Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives This role is suited to an experienced Science teacher with strong leadership skills, or an existing Head of Department seeking a new challenge within a supportive and forward-thinking school.
