Are you an experienced technology strategist and enterprise architect ready to shape the future digital landscape of a global financial institution? Our client, a prestigious international bank, is seeking a Head of Strategy & Architecture to lead the transformation and long‑term technology vision for its technology / IT function.

The role

As Head of Strategy & Architecture, you will develop and drive a clear strategic direction and technical roadmap across infrastructure, service management, and digital engineering services. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and C‑suite executives across EMEA and International Securities to deliver a modern, digital, and agile technology architecture aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

Define and lead the IT strategy, vision, and multi‑year technology roadmap.

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and regulatory requirements.

Partner with tech leaders to shape roadmaps across Infrastructure, Service Management, Cloud, and Digital Workplace solutions.

Influence senior leadership and guide technology decision‑making at board and executive levels.

Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Lead and mentor a team of strategy and architecture leads, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.

Monitor progress through clear KPIs and strategic performance measures.

About you

10+ years in senior technology strategy, IT architecture, or transformation roles within global organisations.

Deep experience across Infrastructure, Operations, and Architecture within Financial Services.

Proven success in designing and delivering long‑term digital transformation strategies.

Exceptional leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, including C‑suite engagement.

In‑depth knowledge of Cloud, Platforms, Networks, Service Management, and emerging technologies such as AI and GenAI.

Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL 4 Strategic Leader, SAFe, or cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable.
