The role of Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Oversee procurement operations to secure high-quality materials and services. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve favourable terms. Monitor and improve inventory management processes to reduce waste and optimise stock levels. Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Analyse data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.Profile
A successful Head of Supply Chain should have:
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools. A degree or qualification in a relevant field such as supply chain management or business.Job Offer
