Due to the continued growth of the group along with the service they offer, we are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sustainability to join the senior team and oversee the EMEA region.

The Head of Sustainability role will have two key aspects: firstly, to be the face of the business on all matters related to sustainability at events, conferences, and in the media; secondly, to lead the team of 40+ sustainability professionals across Europe.

Key Focus for the role:

• ESG strategy
• SBTi
• Climate risk mitigation
• EU green taxonomy
• Green financing
• Building certifications and annual reporting standards
• Asset decarbonisation

This is a very forward-facing leadership role that will require someone with a clear voice, exceptional knowledge, and real presence. You will be engaging, persuasive, strategic, and professional. Ideally you will have experience working across regions both in and outside of the UK.

Your passion will drive innovation, development and delivery both for the organisation and their clients.

Qualifications:

• Environmental based relevant degree
• Membership to relevant professional body is desirable

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in a Global / Regional sustainability role (in-house or consulting)
• Good understanding and appreciation for a wide range of sustainability and ESG topics
• Proficient in translating technical facts and figures into business language
• Experience in using environmental and ESG reporting platforms
• Good knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 50001)
• Experience working in a global organisation would be an advantage.
