We are partnering with a large, market‑leading technology business that has recently transitioned from PLC to Private Equity ownership. Backed by a highly regarded PE sponsor, the business is entering a new phase of ambitious growth, transformation, and value creation.As part of this next chapter, the company is seeking an experienced Head of Tax & Treasury to take ownership of group tax strategy while overseeing treasury activities. This is a senior, high‑impact role offering significant exposure to executive leadership and PE stakeholders.While a blend of tax and treasury experience is desirable, the role is deliberately weighted towards tax, making it ideal for a senior tax professional looking to broaden or leverage their treasury exposure in a dynamic, fast‑growing environment.Key Responsibilities:Tax:Lead and own the group's UK and international tax strategy across corporate tax, VAT, employment taxes, and transfer pricingEnsure robust tax governance, compliance, and risk management in a PE‑backed environmentAct as the principal adviser to the Board, CFO, and PE sponsor on all tax matters, including structuring, M&A, and post‑deal integrationManage relationships with HMRC and external advisersDrive tax efficiency initiatives aligned with growth plans and value creation objectivesTreasury:Oversee group treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, and liquidity planningSupport financing structures and covenant compliance, working closely with lenders and advisorsContribute to capital structure optimisation and funding strategies as the business growsLeadership & Stakeholder Management:Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Commercial leaders across the groupOperate effectively in a PE‑backed governance model, supporting reporting and decision‑making at paceCandidate Requirements:Strong tax background gained in a large corporate, professional services firm, or Big 4 / Top 10 advisory environmentDemonstrable experience leading complex tax matters in the UK, with exposure to international considerationsWorking knowledge of treasury principles and operations; deep treasury specialism beneficial but not essentialExperience operating in or alongside PE‑backed businesses and/or PLC environments is highly attractive (not essential)Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, change‑oriented settingConfident senior stakeholder manager, able to influence at Board and investor levelProfessional qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) strongly preferredWhat's on Offer:Senior leadership role in a high‑growth, PE‑backed market leaderSignificant autonomy and influence over tax strategy and broader financial decision‑makingFlexible working model: fully remote working available with an option to work in the London officeCompetitive salary, executive‑level bonus, and long‑term incentive potentialThe opportunity to shape and scale a best‑in‑class tax function during a period of transformation #J-18808-Ljbffr
