A fast-growing specialist private credit platform is seeking an experienced Head of Treasury to lead its funding and liquidity strategy as the business scales across the UK specialist lending market.
The firm provides structured wholesale funding solutions to non-bank mortgage and property lenders, partnering with high-quality originators to deliver warehouse facilities and forward flow funding structures that support lender growth.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for structuring and managing funding lines, overseeing liquidity management, and monitoring lender performance.
The Role
Warehouse Funding & Structuring
Structure and manage secured warehouse funding facilities
Negotiate advance rates, covenants, margin structures, and eligibility criteria
Work closely with legal advisers and capital partners on facility documentation
Ensure funding structures remain scalable and aligned with lender growth
Assess lender financial strength, operational capability, and loan book performance
Monitor portfolios against covenants, concentration limits, and triggers
Review collateral quality, arrears performance, and recoveries
Conduct stress testing and liquidity scenario analysis
Liquidity & Funding Management
Oversee drawdowns, repayments, and funding utilisation
Manage borrowing base calculations and covenant reporting
Maintain liquidity buffers and oversee cash flow forecasting
Risk, Governance & Strategy
Establish treasury policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
Build dashboards and management reporting for senior leadership
Maintain relationships with institutional capital providers
Support new funding structures, capital strategy, and product development
Candidate Profile
Experience in treasury, structured finance, private credit, or wholesale funding
Strong understanding of warehouse finance structures in specialist mortgage/property lending
Experience analysing loan books, collateral pools, and lender performance
Knowledge of borrowing base mechanics and covenant frameworks
Strong financial modelling, analytical, and negotiation skills
Experience with securitisation or forward flow structures beneficial
