An exceptional leadership opportunity at a high-performing, boutique regulatory consultancy with ambitious growth plans in the UK and US. This role is ideal for a seasoned compliance consulting professional looking to step into a Head of UK Consulting position — with potential progression to CEO.

This firm is a highly respected consultancy, providing strategic regulatory advice and hosting services to wholesale investment managers, many of whom are dual-regulated (FCA/SEC).

The firm is poised for thoughtful, organic growth. There’s no appetite for private equity dilution or aggressive M&A — this is a strategic, people-first business that values integrity, collaboration, and leadership from within.

Why This Role?

  • Organic Growth Focus: No PE pressure. No bolt-on acquisitions. Just smart, deliberate growth.
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape the UK consulting practice, drive business development strategy, and help define the firm’s broader vision.
  • Team Culture: A truly collaborative, ego-free environment. Wins are shared, voices are heard, and leadership is earned.

  • Minimum 15 years in regulatory compliance, with senior-level consulting experience.
  • Deep knowledge of wholesale buy-side regulation. Institutional brokerage exposure is a plus.
  • Confident leading teams, shaping strategy, and mentoring future leaders.
  • Comfortable being client-facing: pitching, presenting, networking, and writing proposals.
  • SEC knowledge is essential.
  • Additional expertise in areas like Risk or Prudential Reg would be welcomed, though not essential.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary + bonus (well into the £200k+ range depending on experience)
  • Equity potential now and certainty in future
  • Potential to progress to CEO
  • A values-driven, adult working environment with genuine flexibility and autonomy

  • SME firm with a flat structure and low attrition
  • Offices in the UK and US
  • Strong client base across asset management, hedge funds and private equity
  • Modern infrastructure (including RegTech and e-learning)
  • Friendly, collaborative, and deeply values-led: trust, connection, belonging, and integrity
