Job Title: Head of Underwriting Excellence & Governance Entity: Rokstone Underwriting Department: Underwriting Excellence & Governance Location: London/Hybrid Responsibilities

Own Rokstone’s underwriting standards, appetite and authorities, setting a clear and practical decision framework. Embed underwriting discipline, peer review and oversight that raises quality without slowing the business down. Design proportionate Line 1 controls at the point of decision, building confidence, not bureaucracy. Deliver clear governance, MI and escalation through to senior management and the Board. Partner with technology to embed scalable underwriting governance into ATOMX as the business grows.

Qualifications

Have experience relevant to the role/industry, whether from a similar position, education or transferable skills. Confidence in communicating with others and working together. A mindset focused on learning, improvement and follow-through. An interest in how things work (and how they could be improved).
