Head Teacher (PKC13615) £Goodlyburn Primary School Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring leader with the skills, confidence and energy to make a positive impact on the lives of our children? We are seeking someone who can lead our school community, develop learning and teaching and ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential. You should have experience of leading aspects of improvement across a school. Ideally, you will also have experience in a leadership post which could include a middle leader, central officer or headteacher post. You will be confident in leading learning and teaching at all stages, supporting positive relationships and behaviour, and building pupil voice to inform whole school improvement. If you have lived overseas for a period of 12 months or more (continuous or total) within the last 10 years, whilst over the age of 18, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The Head Teachers Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2019 require candidates who are appointed to their first permanent Head Teacher post from 1 August 2020 to have attained the Standard for Headship. If you have not gained this qualification, appointment can only be made on a fixed term basis for maximum period of 30 months.
