Who are we? Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace. We are looking for an inspiring Head Waiter to join our Event operations team at Estelle Manor. The on-target earning potential for this role is £36,705.61 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising of a base salary of £28,385.61, plus a qualified estimate of £8,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: As a Head Waiter, you are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for our members and guests. You will oversee the food and drinks service during our events, answer any member enquiries and strive to go the extra mile to ensure every member and guest receives genuine and personalised service. You will help to coach and mentor more junior colleagues, assisting the management team with an efficient flow throughout our Event operations. Who we are looking for?

Someone who has 2+ years of experience on the Event operations floor. Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests. An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset and hugely charismatic. Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills. Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail. A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

About gratuities & service charge:

Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £8,000 in addition to their annual salary.
