Job Summary: The Head Waiter is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring seamless service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate between the front and back of the house. Key Responsibilities: 1. Log In & Preparation for Service: Log in to the system before starting the shift. Ensure all floor staff are present, in uniform, and meet club standards. Conduct a pre-shift briefing to review reservations, special requests, and service goals. 2. Service Coordination & Oversight: Supervise waitstaff, runners to ensure smooth and efficient service. Monitor table assignments and ensure timely order taking and delivery. Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain clear communication and service flow. Address any service issues promptly and professionally. Opening/ Closing of club operation Leading all type of exclusive events Act as DM in the absence of Head of F&B 3. Guest Experience & Satisfaction: Greet and interact with members and guests, ensuring a high level of hospitality. Handle complaints and resolve issues effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure all tables receive attentive service and special requests are fulfilled. 4. Staff Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training to waitstaff and runners to uphold club standards. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement. Ensure all employees adhere to service protocols and hygiene regulations. 5. Inventory & Floor Maintenance: Ensure all service stations are fully stocked with necessary supplies. Oversee the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area. Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the relevant department. 6. End of Shift & Handover: Conduct end-of-shift evaluations and document any service issues. Provide a detailed handover to the next shift manager. Ensure all systems and POS devices are properly closed down. 7. Professional Conduct & Club Standards: Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times. Ensure club policies and service standards are consistently upheld. Promote teamwork and a collaborative working environment. Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience in a managerial role within a hospitality or fine dining environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
