Health & Safety Consultant – Birmingham Region\n\nSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Expenses + Pension + 31 Days Holiday\n\nFrancesca ’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Consultant to join a respected organisation in a permanent role. This position is based in the Birmingham region, covering the southern region, and requires extensive travel with occasional overnight stays.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, particularly in fire safety and fire risk assessments, who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Conduct comprehensive health & safety audits across the southern region\n\n * \n\n Lead on fire safety compliance, including detailed fire risk assessments\n\n * \n\n Provide expert guidance on health & safety policies, procedures, and best practice\n\n * \n\n Support management teams to maintain exceptional safety and compliance standards\n\n * \n\n Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions as required\n\n * \n\n Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * \n\n Minimum 2 years’ UK Health & Safety experience – essential\n\n * \n\n Proven background as a Health & Safety Consultant or similar role\n\n * \n\n NEBOSH qualification – essential\n\n * \n\n Recognised fire safety qualification with strong fire risk assessment experience\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence and own vehicle\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * \n\n High levels of energy, resilience, and flexibility to manage a busy audit schedule\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\n * \n\n £45,000 – £55,000 per annum\n\n * \n\n All travel expenses covered\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme\n\n * \n\n 31 days annual leave including bank holidays\n\nAbout Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd\n\nAt Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd, we connect exceptional talent with outstanding opportunities.
