Health & Safety Manager (Fire & Estates)\n\nNewcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)\n\n£47,789 - £58,225\n\nPermanent \n\nWe're looking for an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager (Fire & Estates) to take the lead on fire safety, estates safety, and project‑related health and safety across our organisation. This is a key strategic role where you'll act as the go‑to expert for fire safety and estates‑focused health and safety matters.\n\nThe Health and Safety Manager (Fire & Estates) responsibilities include:\n\nLead and manage specialist fire, estates, and project safety services\nProvide expert advice on fire safety, asbestos management, CDM regulations, facilities management and construction safety\nDevelop and coordinate our approach to fire safety legislation and fire risk management\nPromote and support a positive, proactive safety culture\nWork closely with teams across the organisation, offering guidance, training and support\nOversee compliance activities, audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement workThe successful Health and Safety Manager will have:\n\nLevel 6 Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)\nLevel 4 Fire Safety qualification\nThird‑party certification as a Fire Risk Assessor or Auditor\nAsbestos Management P405 (desirable)\nA solid understanding of health and safety management systems and fire safety legislation (including BS9999 and Approved Document B)If you are interested in the role, please contact Chrissie at the Derby office.
