Health and Safety Manager Food Manufacturing £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Private Medical + Company Pension Craigavon Are you a driven H&S professional with a transformational approach to leadership and looking for an opportunity to leave your mark on an expanding global FMCG business? This international Food Manufacturer has over 5000 employees across several large sites including a number in the UK specialising in the supply of ingredients to high-profile restaurants and takeaway chains. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for an experienced H&S Manager to focus on business-wide governance and compliance, for example with the development of strategic initiatives and the coordination of audits while providing support to site-based H&S teams. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent H&S qualification) and will have previous H&S Management experience in an industrial setting, preferably in FMCG. Day-to-day of the role: Coordinating Health & Safety governance across sites, including audits, action tracking and performance reporting. Maintaining central oversight of contractor safety, H&S systems, claims, learning and digital safety platforms. Working with site H&S Managers to strengthen standards, ensure accountability and support strategic initiatives. Providing H&S cover to sites during absences and act as an escalation point for issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) or equivalent professional training. Demonstrable experience in H&S management within an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of governance, compliance processes and ISO 45001-aligned systems.
