Health & Safety Officer, Glasgow, Immediate Start, Long Term Contract Until June 2027, Excellent rates (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities
* Conduct site inductions for all new employees, contractors, and visitors
* Carry out regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Develop, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures
* Prepare and implement risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Monitor compliance with current health and safety legislation and company policies
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports as required
* Provide guidance and advice to site management and staff on all health and safety matters
* Promote a positive health and safety culture across all operations
* Ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed through
Requirements
* Proven previous experience in a Health & Safety Officer role within construction or facilities management
* Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
* Experience conducting inductions, audits, and risk assessments
* Ability to develop and update health and safety policies
* Experience preparing detailed incident and accident reports
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent )
