With a strong reputation and long-standing track record, our client partners with developers, investors, and asset owners to deliver complex projects that sit at the heart of the energy transition.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support project teams and help drive a strong safety culture across the business.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role supporting engineering and project delivery teams across a diverse portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects.
Based in Manchester, you will play a key role in ensuring robust health & safety standards across both office and project environments, while working closely with technical teams and stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support health & safety across multiple UK and Ireland locations
- Lead and support H&S audits and ensure compliance with ISO45001 standards
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to identify and manage risk
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, including CDM 2015 Regulations
- Support client-facing activities by contributing to H&S advisory services
- Chair meetings, produce reports, and engage with internal and external stakeholders
About You
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential); Diploma desirable
- IOSH membership (Chartered or working towards)
- Strong background in construction, infrastructure, or project environments
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations
- Experience auditing against ISO45001 (Lead Auditor preferred)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
