Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Pay: NJC Scale 10, Points 36–41 (£50,084 – £55,322 FTE)

ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a Multi-Academy Trust in South East London to recruit a Health & Safety and Compliance Manager. This is a senior role responsible for leading health, safety, and statutory compliance across all Trust schools.

The Role – Health & Safety and Compliance Manager

You will act as the Trust’s competent person for health and safety, leading on compliance, audits, and risk management across multiple school sites. You will support senior leadership in delivering the Estates strategy while ensuring all statutory obligations are met.

Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:

1. Have proven experience in health and safety and compliance management

2. Demonstrate strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practice

3. Be confident leading audits, inspections, and risk assessments

4. Have experience working across multiple sites or within a complex organisation (education desirable)

5. Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

6. Be proactive, organised, and able to lead on compliance initiatives

7. Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
