Job Description
Health & Safety and Facilities Manager (Part-Time)
Croydon (Hybrid Working)
24 hours per week (across 4–5 days)
£37,885 pro rata (£55,250 FTE)
Hourly rate £30.36 + Holiday pay (£34.02)

We are working with a well-established organisation in Croydon who are looking to appoint a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager on a part-time basis.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed working environment, alongside overseeing facilities operations and contractor management.
The Role
Lead on all aspects of health and safety across the organisation
Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation
Oversee facilities management and day-to-day site operations
Manage contractors, suppliers, and service agreements
Monitor budgets and support facilities-related projects
Line manage a Facilities Coordinator (currently being recruited)
Working Pattern
24 hours per week, across 4 - 5 days
Minimum 2 days in the office (initially 3 days on-site during onboarding)
Requirements
NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) or strong relevant experience
Previous experience in facilities or office management
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and compliance
Experience managing contractors, budgets, and projects
Full right to work in the UK
Additional Information
Candidates must be available to start by 13 April 2026 to allow for a full handover period
