About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to support all aspects of Health & Safety across projects in development, construction, and operations & maintenance phases. This role is pivotal in driving excellence and continuous improvement in H&S performance through proactive initiatives, guidance, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Health & Safety expertise across all project lifecycle phases.
• Implement and maintain safety management systems.
• Contribute to contractor pre-qualification and due diligence activities.
• Review safe systems of work for compliance and suitability.
• Participate in accident and incident investigations and produce reports.
• Deliver effective H&S communication plans.
• Lead or contribute to H&S meetings and committees.
• Promote effective risk management and hazard identification processes.
• Develop and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Support inspections, audits, and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Assist with project-specific H&S plans, targets, and reporting.
• Analyse H&S performance data and support learning and development initiatives.
• Provide advice and guidance on all H&S matters.

Requirements:

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification with demonstrable knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an H&S role, ideally with full project lifecycle exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
• Familiarity with H&S management systems, permit-to-work systems, marine practices, and risk management.
• Experience in accident investigation techniques, behavioural safety, and inherently safe design principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).

Fluent English (spoken and written) required; additional languages are an advantage.
