Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager

In this role you will implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to support the business, in line with current HSE legislation and best practice. You will take ownership of maintaining and auditing the effectiveness of our systems throughout the organisation, ensuring that our Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality systems meet with the international standards (ISO’s 45001, 14001 and 9001).
Main Duties
Ensure HSE policies, procedures and documentation are in place for both operatives and sub-contractors, including safe systems of work, and site-specific risk assessments, ensuring as a minimum best practice. Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas of health, safety and welfare, inclusive of the CDM Regulations, providing competent information and advice as required. Working proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment. Ensure those with responsibility for health and safety (Managers, Supervisors, Sub-contractors) comply with their responsibilities, promoting a positive health and safety culture. Communicate Health and Safety information to the Client, Supervisors, Operatives and sub-contractors through various mediums to ensure full understanding of issues and procedures.
