Health & Safety Manager Location: Chelmsford- Central London We're looking for an experienced HSQ&E Manager to join a growing construction contractor, taking the lead on health, safety, quality and environmental standards across the business. About the Role You'll be responsible for driving a strong H&S culture, ensuring compliance across sites and head office, and supporting continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Construction Director and site teams. Key Responsibilities Carry out site inspections and audits across live projects Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and ISO standards Produce reports, track KPIs, and identify trends/improvements Support development of company H&S systems and procedures Manage training matrix and ensure workforce compliance Liaise with HSE and support accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, RoSPA) Review H&S plans and carry out pre-start assessments Requirements Proven H&S experience within construction Strong knowledge of UK legislation and site practices NEBOSH (or equivalent) preferred Confident, proactive, and able to work across multiple sites What's on Offer Key role within a growing contractor
