A highly reputably Tier 1 Contractor is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business with over one hundred years' experience.
About the role of Health & Safety Manager
Specialising high spec commercial schemes across the south coast ranging from £90M to £300M. This Health & safety Manager opportunity is a fantastic chance for a Senior H&S Advisor looking to step up or an experienced H&S Manager looking to build and develop a division.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Manager
Head up all Health & Safety across the scheme including push for continuous development and improvement for health & Safety within the business across all functions.
Proactively train, teach and lead regarding correct protocol, business standards & management systems.
Represent the business from a health & safety standpoint with stakeholders, clients & subcontractors.
Requirements for Health & Safety Manager
Preferably a certified member of IOSH
NEBOOSH Diploma or level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety
Strong understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation's and changes.
Effective communication and IT Skills
